A Fine Autumn Day. What to Do?
The last week or so has seen some settled weather over our part of the country, and today a few of the Classics Crew thought it would be a good time to head off around the countryside to enjoy the sunshine and warmish temperatures before winter arrives. Our meetup at Memorial Park saw a turnout of nine bikes and riders. All we needed was a destination for a cuppa and a route to get there. Luckily, we had Mr Map (Gary A) on hand, who knows his way around the many roads in this area, and he suggested the long way to the Woolshed Cafe, which was received very favourably by the crew. With Gary in the lead, we set off on our way, zagging and zigging out towards Ashhurst first, Hiwinui, Valley Road, around the back of Feilding, Mount Biggs, Mount Stewart, and finally to the Woolshed Cafe, from the south!
